2021-2022: AI For Remote Healthcare with Cinvestav University, Guadalahara, Mexico

The traditional method of processing ultrasound images involves multiple steps like beamforming and filtering. The new AI technique using convolutional neural networks and direct Radio Frequency data reduces processing time and image data by focusing on regions of interest and discarding unnecessary images. This approach lowers the overall Bills of Material (BOM) costs and can detect ultrasound scan failures using Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Consequently, this system can provide healthcare professionals and patients with faster and smarter procedure guidance. The performance was evaluated with large and small Xilinx FPGAs and a gaming laptop for inferencing.

2020: Web-based hydroponic garden monitoring system inside a home garage won the Design Challenge Project of the Year 2020.

We built a fully functional Hydroponic Farm, with a web-based monitoring interface, full Co2 Monitoring, as well as Air, Lighting, Moisture, and cooling control using Infineon hardware. The project showed a wide range of skills and a lot of ingenuity
